Monday Mantra

KeepTremendouslyInterested

As a teenager, I watched my mom struggle with obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. The lessons and information I learned during the time my mother was sick and during the time she finally decided to make a change in her eating habits is what developed into my passion for nutrition and health, ultimately motivating me to develop a weight loss program and share it with the world.

Nutrition is what I am passionate about...but how do I remain "tremendously interested" in it? I read. A lot. I read books, magazines, newspaper articles, blog posts...anything about nutrition that I can get my hands on! Next up is a book that was recommended to me by a BD member: Spectrum by Dean Ornish.
